Job description:

  • Coordinate and plan the import process from the sending of the purchase order to the supplier until the delivery of the material in the plant, ensuring legal compliance.
  • Establish dispatch conditions for Imports that are planned in the area in a timely manner.
  • Evaluate and select the Customs Agents that meet the guidelines established by the company offering the best service and the best cost ratio.
  • Keep updated comparative costs of Customs Services, Intentional Freight, Storage and others related to the process of Import and Export.
  • To estimate and to elaborate the funds required weekly by the Treasury Department for the cancellation of the Rights and Taxes of nationalization of the Imports and Exports.
  • Continuously follow up on the Import Process through the Import Control Table.
  • To calculate the indicators of the processes of the area, with their respective analysis.
  • To review and prepare invoices for services related to the import and export process (customs service, transportation, storage, intentional freight, etc.)
  • Coordinate and plan the Export process from the transport request to the sending of the documents to the client.
  • Planning the activities to be developed during the year with the review of Objectives and Goals to be met.

 

Profile:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Foreign Trade, International Business or Related.
  • Fluent English.
  • Technical knowledge in: International Trade, IMMEX, Annex 24 and 31, Updates in INCOTERMS, amendments of the World Customs Organization.
  • 5 to 6 years of experience developing similar positions.
